Deb Psychology

Deb Psychology is owned and managed by Deb Anthony (pronouns: Deb/she/they), an independent practitioner. Deb has been providing psychological support and interventions for over 20 years. Deb is a registered clinical psychologist. Deb is also a Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), and the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AusPATH). In addition to this, Deb is an active committee member of the APS Diverse Bodies, Diverse Genders, and Diverse Sexualities Interest Group and volunteers for a range of community and local government LGBTQIA+ inclusion groups.

Deb has extensive training and hands-on experience across a diverse range of people and their individual needs. Deb has undertaken highly specialised training in the assessment, diagnosis, formulation, and psychological treatment of mental health, behavioural, emotional, and sexual disorders across the lifespan. Deb is also highly skilled at treating all areas of general and clinical mental health and wellbeing. Deb can efficiently identify and resolve psychological experiences that range from mild, to severe and complex. Deb also uses her expertise to provide a platform practice in her areas of special interest.

Deb has specific areas of interest and additional training in gender and sexual identity, men’s health, sexual health and intimacy, parenting, and diverse relationships. Deb is immensely proud to provide sex-positive and LGBTQIA+-affirming services.
